- God examines his children to promote them to the next level to maturity. eg.. passing exams promote to the subsequent grades.
- The devil tempts God’s children to doubt and trust in God. He applies temptation as an opportunity to destroy the spirituality of a believer.
- God allows us to experience temptation, Though He does not cause it.
- Temptation can happen anyone in regards to spiritual maturity.
- Temptation happens mostly on stressful and sorrowful times.
- Temptation has a simple beginning as a desire but heavy impact. desire → sin → death.
- Overcoming temptation is possible if we resist without entertaining it, and God gives strength to overcome it.
- How ⇒ ① Recognozie most vulnerable or weak area in your life and control desires. Temptation begins in mind. ② Captive your thought in the promise of God. Learn the Word consistently and memorize it. ③ Seek God to help to overcome temptation. ④ Unless you overcome temptation, you keep haunted.
